Kelly Ripa has recently become the topic of a new online game so geek girls everywhere pay attention!

Electrolux Majos Appliances, North America and tv show host Kelly Ripa have teamed up and announced their collaboration that is seeking to raise funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

Known as Europe's leading premium appliance brand, Electrolux is introducing a new line of high-performance, stylish kitchen appliances designed to help women entertain and multi task family, friends and kids with creativity and ease. The new collection includes 50 high-performing appliances such as wall ovens, ranges, cooktops, refrigerators, microwaves, wine coolers, freezers, ventilation systems, induction hybrid cooktops etc. The company has joined forces with Ripa to promote the new appliance collection.

Electrolux has also designed a virtual interactive game called Kelly's Bags that gives users the chance to win this year's hottest collection of designer premium kitchen appliances.

Kelly Ripa On TLC

TLC President Angela Shapiro-Mathes has declared that the network will partner the tv stars as she allows viewers into their home. Shapiro-Mathes was actually at the helm of ABC Daytime during the era when Mark and Kelly starred on the soap opera All My Children. Angela claims she knows a star when she sees one and so the deal was made. The overall deal gives the network the first dibs on unscripted television projects.
The whole story was declared publicly at the Discovery Communications upfront presentation Wednesday in New York.

We have yet to discover how do these celebrities find the energy and time to tackle everything? Let's not forget Kelly is mother of three (Joaquin, 5, Lola, 7 and, Michael, 10) cohost of the popular show Live With Regis and Kelly, not to mention all the commercials she's been featured in and the fact that she has signed a deal with Electrolux as well.

Kelly Ripa in All My Children

Before Kelly Ripa joined forces with Regis and started co-hosting the popular morning show Live With Regis And Kelly, she portrayed the alcoholic, disturbed, wild and eventually mature Haley Vaughn Chandler Santos in soap opera All My Children.

Here's a brief synopsis of Haley's life in Pine Valley. Haley Santos was the spicy chic with a lot of luggage way before Kendall, Greenlee, Amanda or Babe showed up. Having alcoholic/slutty Arlene and evil-Adam and as parents probably does that to a girl. Haley is half of the hottest couple in Pine Valley. She and Mateo were a couple long before Leo and Greenlee, Ryan and Annie, Ryan and Greenlee even existed. I bet you all remember that Halley made her appearance in Pine Valley wearing a black wig. Not long after that, it was discovered that she really was Adam Chandler's daughter. She had to live with her uncle Trevor, whose sister was an alcoholic, just like herself turned out to be.

Hayley met Mateo the day she was supposed to marry Alec! While wandering the beach they met and fell in love with each other. Although they had to conquer numerous obstacles, their love is now solid.

Mark Consuelos (Mateo) and Kelly Ripa (Haley) decided to leave the Soaps in 2000 leaving behind a huge number of fans who will surely miss them.

Kelly Ripa vs Priscilla Presley

Kelly Ripa got the slap in the head on live television.

It all began with Priscilla Presley, Elvis Presley's widow and recent throwaway contestant of Dancing With The Stars appearing on April 17th Live with Regis and Kelly reality show to discuss her recent performance. Priscilla, who was the oldest female ever to contest at Dancing With The Stars might have offended co-host Kelly Ripa during the interview.

Some will say that the aging diva was in a bad mood because she had recently been kicked out from Dancing with the Stars. However, Kelly kind of took it badly and refused to open her mouth and say a word for the rest of the interview.

Kelly Ripa's Advice For Lindsay Lohan

As most of you already know, Kelly Ripa's sister was very close to being killed by a drunken driver. During a show on "Live With Regis and Kelly", co-host Ripa said that she would like Lohan to feel "the physical agony" one has to live with after going through an experience as such. Kelly added that she would really like for Lindsay to have a chat with Ripa's sister. The suggestion by Ripa was obviously that Lindsay Lohan doesn't take driving and drinking seriously (two DUI arrests during a three months period seems to support her suggestion). Kelly Ripa is not mocking Lohan and takes the situation very seriously unlike other TV hosts. Kelly Ripa added that she feels sorry about Lindsay's situation and she cares for all of these young girls that are making the headlines nowadays.

On July 25, 2007, Lindsay Lohan's SUV got pulled over by the police and Lindsay failed the field sobriety test. The authorities have arrested Lohan for felony drugs possession and driving under the influence after finding cocaine in her pockets. Lindsay declared that it didn't belong to her. This incident wasn't the first for Lindsay Lohan aged 21.

Kelly Ripa's sister Linda, was eight months pregnant when she had the accident. Linda broke her sternum, her back, her pelvis, her bones of foot and ankle and her nose. By a miracle, the baby survived but the emotional and physical effects still haunt Linda and her family.

Kelly Ripa vs Rosie O'Donnell

Kelly Ripa had a public squabble with former American Idol Star Clay Aiken which led to Rosie O'Donnell blasting Kelly Ripa for the way she reacted to Clay Aiken covering her mouth on the set of Ripa's morning show.

It all started innocently enough with Clay serving as a substitute cohost on "Live with Regis and Kelly". During an interview with Dancing with the Stars winners Cheryl Burke and Emmitt Smith, Clay attempted to eke out a question, only to be interrupted by Kelly. Clearly displeased, Aiken playfully put his hand over her mouth, making Kelly to snap, "I don't know where that hand has been."

That's what probably got Rosie so upset that reviewing the incident she called Kelly's comment "homophobic". Therefore Rosie's felt she had to rip Ripa because Ripa ripped Clay Aiken. Ripa immediately fired back at O'Donnell saying she has no fear of gays. She said O'Donnell misunderstood her remark and advised Rosie to be more responsible because not everyone is homophobic. Kelly insists her comment was based on the fact that it was flu and cold season and that she was afraid for her children. As I see it, O'Donnell owes Ripa and Aiken some apology. Even though there have been tons of rumors, let's not forget Aiken has never made public his sexual orientation. We can't know for sure what were Kelly's real reasons to make such a remark. Did she fear germy hands, gay hands or hands that don't let her take over the conversation? But who wants someone's hands touching their mouth anyway?

Birthplace : Stratford, New Jersey

Talk-show host, soap star and comedic actress, Kelly Ripa was born in New Jersey to Joe a bus driver and labor union president and Esther, a homemaker. Her family eventually moved to Berlin, New Jersey where Kelly grew up with sister Linda (a children's author by now), and they began taking piano and ballet lessons. She attended school at Eastern Regional High School and was noticed while acting in her senior high school play, The Ugly Duckling. It was then that Kelly first considered entertaining as a career.

After graduating from high school, Kelly attended community college while landing parts in local theater productions such as: The Wizard and Oz, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court and H.M.S. Pinafore. She next joined the cast of ABC television network daytime drama All My Children starring as Hayley Vaughan. In the year 2000 her character married Mateo Santos who is portrayed by Ripa's real-life husband, Mark Consuelos. They have three children together: Lola Grace, Joaquin Antonio and Michael Joseph.

Kelly received several Soap Opera Awards including Soap Opera Award for Hottest Romance and Outstanding Younger Lead Actress, and a Daytime Emmy Award Nomination in 1993 followed by a second one in 1999.

Kelly's performance as psychologically tortured Hayley Vaughan on ABC spanned twelve years, from 1990 through 2002. In 1999, she was named Best Actress by the NYC Independent Film Festival for her performance in the feature film The Stand In.

Ripa was next selected to co-host the popular syndicated tv show Live with Regis and Kelly alongside Regis Philbin. Ripa pulled double duty with All My Chidren and Live! until 2002 when she left AMC. The follow-up year, Kelly was back on double duty starring as Faith Fairfield on the 2003 sitcom "Hope & Faith. Kelly Ripa has also hosted the 2007 TV Land Awards.
